Using this website
Website terms.
The basis for using Refuture Africa’s public information and enquiry tools.
Website operator.
This website is operated by Refuture Africa Studio, registered in Estonia. For enquiries or concerns email hello@refuture.africa. See our business information and privacy policy.
Information and illustrative work.
Our content introduces our practice, services and possible engagements. Futures scenarios explore possibilities and are not predictions or guarantees. Illustrative briefs, imagined situations and AI-generated illustrations are labelled as such; they are not evidence of completed client work. See the illustration notes.
Website information may change. We aim to correct errors when identified. Contact us if a detail is material to a decision you are making, so we can confirm the current scope and arrangements.
Enquiries and programme interest.
Sending an enquiry, workshop interest or fellowship interest does not form a paid service contract, confirm a booking, reserve a place or submit an assessed fellowship application. No payment is taken on this website. We will agree the scope, fee, tax treatment, delivery, cancellation and other relevant terms before a paid engagement is confirmed.
Fellowship dates, fee, application process and edition-specific terms will be confirmed before applications open. Applicable consumer information and rights will be provided before any consumer purchase. These website terms do not replace a signed project agreement. Read our programme participation terms.
Materials and submissions.
Website text, design and images are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. You may link to this site and use it for your own information. Obtain permission before republishing substantial material or using our branding in a way that implies an endorsement. Third-party materials remain subject to their owners’ rights.
Send only material you are entitled to share. Submitting a brief or contribution permits us to review it and respond to your request; it does not give us permission to publish it or transfer ownership of your work. Agree confidentiality, knowledge use, compensation and credit before contributing to an engagement.
Respectful and lawful use.
Do not misuse the forms, submit harmful code, impersonate another person, attempt unauthorised editor access or disrupt the website. Enquiry and authentication protections may block abusive requests. External links are provided for context; the destination operator is responsible for its own website.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted website availability or a particular result from a futures scenario. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. For an accessibility problem, include the affected page and the help you need in an email to us.
